On her birthday, Emma was able to experience a day in the life of a PE teacher with her Jordan Gala prize, "PE Power: Step Into Mrs. Leischner's Shoes."
She led fun activities, inspired students, and embraced the joy of physical education. She was even able to have her older brothers as students!
Emma unleashed her inner coach and made unforgettable memories with Mrs. Leischner and her students.

A huge thank you to Olde Towne bakery and our participating families for a wonderful fundraiser for our school! We raised over $2,000! 🧁🍪 A special shout out to the Dawson Morris family who sold 72 items!!

Ms. Anna and Ms. Molly were the Jordan Gala winners for “Command The Classroom!” While Mrs. Saucedo kicked back, drank an Atomic, and read a book, they took over. The "teachers" did an amazing job!

Sheley Shadow Day! Coco was the best teacher! She greeted her students, took attendance, lead them in shaving cream spelling, gave her students extra free time, and even suggested we have popcorn and watch a show at the end of the day! Ms. Sheley says Coco is hired!!

Today the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders faced off in the legendary 2025 Jordan Catholic School Dodgeball Tournament, all to celebrate Student Leaders Week! Everyone showed amazing sportsmanship and, let's be honest, some seriously impressive dips, dives, dodges, ducks, AND DODGES! Mrs. Finnegan's phenomenal 5th graders went head-to-head with Mrs. Bandel's bodacious 8th graders. And after a nail-biting, sweat-inducing, ball-slinging extravaganza... Mrs. Bandel's 8th graders emerged victorious!
Mark your calendars for Friday, March 14th, at our all-school assembly! Our dodgeball dynamos will be taking on the TEACHERS AND STAFF in a battle for the ages! This will be the grand finale of Student Leaders Week, and you DO NOT want to miss it!

Our 8th-grade Financial Literacy classes had an incredibly valuable experience on their trip to Junior Achievement's Finance Park! With Mr. Baresel, Mrs. Brandel, and Mrs. Stear guiding them, our students dove headfirst into the world of budgeting and "adulting."
They were each assigned a monthly income and then faced the real-world challenges of managing expenses like childcare, rent, transportation, and all the other necessities of daily life. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn firsthand how to make their money work for them.

Ash Wednesday blessings! 🙏
Our students joined together today for a beautiful Mass, marking the beginning of Lent. May this season of reflection and renewal bring us closer to God.

On Friday, February 21, 2025, Mr. Baresel's 7th-grade Financial Literacy class celebrated their Junior Achievement graduation. Led by Morgan Milner, a local lawyer and Jordan Catholic School parent, the students gained valuable insights into career planning, budgeting, and financial decision-making. Congratulations to the 7th graders on their achievement!

A year has passed, yet the absence of Mrs. Debbie Marlier remains deeply felt within the halls of Jordan Catholic School. On Friday, February 21, 2025, the Student Leaders gathered to honor her memory, a beloved literature teacher whose influence spanned nearly five decades. Her former students read poems, Bible verses and their own stories to remember Mrs. Marlier and the incredible gifts she gave them every single day in the classroom. Her life, dedicated to nurturing young minds, was celebrated with heartfelt remembrances, a wreath of flowers, and a statue of a reading student placed upon her cherished classroom chair. Though her physical presence is gone, the impact of her teachings and her spirit will forever resonate within the school.
"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die."
John 11:25-26
