Students in Mr. Baresel's 8th grade history class participated in a unique simulation designed to bring the realities of the Western Front in 1917 to life. They bravely constructed their own trenches and engaged in paper ball battles, experiencing firsthand the challenges faced by soldiers. The International Red Cross was on hand for rescues, but students had to stay alert to avoid simulated "gas attacks." In the end, after the "fighting" was done, the students demonstrated great teamwork by cleaning up, leaving all quiet on their very own "Western Front."

During Lent, our preschool students are seeking the Lord in prayer for others.
Dear Lord, help me to have a simple and childlike faith in You and, through this simple faith, come to know the beautiful mysteries You desire to reveal to me.
Give me wisdom and knowledge, dear Lord, beyond what I could ever obtain by myself.
Jesus, I trust in You.
