The importance of Catholic education
Catholic education is the choice of many parents for various different reasons, but it really depends on the family, so I’m not so sure for others. All I know is that I’m extremely grateful for my parents making the decision to enroll me at Jordan Catholic School. They know that incorporating God’s teachings in my life is one of the most important things to learn, and they’ve made it very clear that being taught at a Catholic school makes it easy to understand the life of Jesus, Mary, and all the saints.
We learn about the history of the church, the meanings of Bible stories, we learn to see the world and all of its blessings from the perspective of God’s creation, and we come to know that no matter who we are or what we do, he will love us no matter what. It gives me a place of security and belonging, a sense of joyfulness and hope. Everyone has their reasons for going to Catholic school, but I know for a fact that this is mine.
