Clean Earth Challenge

Happy Earth Day!
Jordan EarlyAct Club will be joining the Clean Earth Challenge to help keep our school, community, and world clean. The Clean Earth Challenge is a partnership between the National Wildlife Federation and Johnson Outdoors, a leading manufacturer of outdoor recreation equipment. The goal of the challenge is to eliminate one million items of trash in our communities, parks, schools, shorelines, and more. Garbage has a devastating effect on our ecosystems, as it clogs our lands and waterways. By volunteering your time to help eliminate trash from your neighborhoods, you will help to make our community a cleaner place to live and will help eliminate plastics and trash in our local rivers and ultimately the ocean.
So, here’s the challenge: throughout this week, we challenge you to take some time to pick up trash from your neighborhoods, local parks, roadsides, or even down along our area rivers. Every item collected counts, and no amount is too little. Feel free to take pictures of what you’ve collected and post on social media (don’t forget to tag #ComeCleanForEarth, #CleanEarthChallenge, and #JordanCatholicFamily). Once you’ve collected trash, fill out the form below and click submit.
We will update everyone with how many pieces of trash our Jordan community collected at the end of the week.
Thanks for your participation in the Clean Earth Challenge!
